Kids’ schools
- All clubs have kids’ schools. At first, every club has a small after-school basketball group.
- Types of kids’ schools:
- Small after-school group. Financing: 0 Eu. At most, 1 talent may be raised.
- Intense after-school group. Financing: 500 Eu. At most, 2 talents.
- Small basketball school. Financing: 1000 Eu. At most, 5 talents.
- Average basketball school. Financing: 5000 Eu. At most, 10 talents.
- Prominent basketball school. Financing: 10000 Eu. At most: 15 talents.
- World-class basketball academy. Financing: 20000 Eu. At most 30 talents. - Club can not change the financing of school but it can increase or decrease the "type of school". Thus, financing will also change.
- School type can be increased only when it has maximum allowed number of talents.
- School type can be decreased only when it has equal or smaller number of talents that is allowed in lower type of school.
- Maximum number of talents depends on the type of school. If maximum number of talents is 1, it means that there are more kids attending the school but only one of them might become a basketball player. - In schools talents can stay until they are 18-year-old.
- When the contract is signed, player from school gets the status of “player found by scouts” and he is included in the main team of the user.
- Manager of the club can see some information about club’s talents: age, height, potential, 4 main skills and approximate RT.
- Improvement in schools:
- Experience grows slower than when playing in club.
- Skills for training can not be selected. ALL talent’s skills increase at the same time.
- Player’s skills can improve in maximum speed (depending on potential). The only condition for maximum speed: there has to be at least one similar level talent in the team. Let’s say, we have perspective 16-year-old, 170cm, 50RT player. So, we should try to find any age, 169-175cm, 49-55RT player that would help in training and our 16-year-old talent could have maximum speed (according to potential) in improving skills. - Changes in talents’ potential:
- Similar to other players’. Best talents’ potential increases, worst - decreases.
- Kids are often difficult to predict, therefore there is also a factor of success.
- Potential can quickly increase or decrease by few points.
- Talent can decide to stop playing basketball at all (chances increase when club’s image, popularity, personnel’s opinion are low). - New denominative player for long playing clubs:
- When 20 seasons pass after denominative player has been received, club can choose a new player in kids' school and give him the status of "denominative player". Afterwards, this player would get potential equal to 10 and he would always want to prolong contract with the team for smaller than average salary.
Scouts’ activity
- smallest possible financing will be equal to 0 (instead of current 500 Eu)
- in worst case, scouts will find some young talent for kids’ school (instead of current 40RT players)
Lending players will stay the same as it is now.
