Overview of 27th season (2012-02-20 14:55:46)
Congratulations with the new 28th season! Last, 27th season, was devoted to creation of the system for instructing new users and various smaller fixes.
Jobs done in the 27th season
1) The system of analyzing players and coaches.
Often we'd like to know if player's skill grows soon. Or on the contrary - if club's veterans will remain good enough to play in your team and if their skills decrease soon.
- Club's manager will be able to send scout to analyze player or coach of his club
- Report will contain percentage progress of each skill and experience. When the percentage is 100%, the skill increases; when the percentage is 0% - the skill decreases
- Reports stays for unlimited period of time. So, analysis may be repeated later and the results of them may be compared - how much skills, experience, potential and RT has changed.
- In order to try the new feature, all users will be given possibility to carry out one analysis of player or coach.

Currently this feature will be a part of PREMIUM package (in the future this feature may be separated from PREMIUM package):
- PREMIUM users will receive 2 analysis on the first day of each month
- GOLD PREMIUM users will receive 2 analysis each Monday
- Analysis can be ordered and report viewed in section: Scouts -> Analysis of personnel
2) Updates related with coaches.
- In the beginning of each season, clubs managed by the computer will be given worst coaches available in the market
- In the end of each season, some part of worst market's coaches will be deleted from the game
- In the beginning of each season coaches will decide if they are going to retire after the current season. The career of coaches may last till 55-75 years.
- Friendly matches' impact on training will be same as the impact of league's matches. It is applied to: players' skills and experience, coaches' skills and experience. Until now friendly matches had very small impact
- When training particular player's skill (not group of skills), it will improve 2.5 times faster (used to be 2 times faster) than the speed of skill's improvement when training group of skills (3 skills at once).
- Coaches' improvement has been considerably changed. Next to potential (used to be till now), the speed of improvement will also depend on his age, position, strength of trained club.
- When training particular coach's skill, it will improve 3 times faster (used to be 2.5) than the speed of skill's improvement when training group of skills.
- Impact of match's importance to players' training increased a little.
- Bug fixed, when some players used to improve faster than they should.
- In training report, improvement of skills will be marked with max 5 pluses ("+++++"), not 3 pluses ("+++") as it used to be. Therefore, the speed of improvement will be clearer.
Until now, new players' RT did not depend on the fact if it is created in the beginning of the season or in the end of the season. Therefore players created in the beginning of the season (especially, denominative players) could achieve considerably better RT than the ones created in the end of the season.
From now, when creating new player, his RT will depend on the day of the season. Therefore, denominative players or players from scouts that will be created in the end of the season will have bigger RT and similar perspectives as the ones that were created in the beginning of the season.
5) Decreasing the number of players:We continue aiming for situation that players found by scouts could play in the lowest leagues.
Currently, average players' RT in the lowest leagues is still too big but to compare with previous situation it is smaller. In order to reach aim sooner, two small changes were included:
- old/low RT players will retire a bit faster.
- a bit more of the worst market's players will end their career (without warning in advance).
- Limits that will not allow users to rent much too big arena (according to club's league) included. It should help teams to understand the situation and avoid very big compensations in the end of the season
- The influence of seats number decreased (to the rent price). Therefore when renting arena, choosing a bit bigger number of seats won't influence finances so much (as it was this season).
- The influence of minimum number of matches increased. Last season the difference between renting arena for one or few matches was very small, so most of the users simply didn't take risk and rented arena for single match. Next season arena's price for one match will be considerably bigger. The more matches are planned to be played, the cheaper is rent price (difference bigger than this season)
Each international league has minimum limit for salaries' sum of club's players. If salaries' sum is lower, during financial operations the club will still have to pay the minimum limit. This way, we are trying to decrease the number of teams that fire big part of their players at the end of the regular season - in order to save a lot of money. By doing so, they distort situation in the league. At first we didn't want to make hasty big changes and included small minimum salaries' limit, having in mind that it will be increased gradually till the required level. Therefore in the 28th season minimum salaries' sum is considerably increased.
8) End of coaches' contract
Coaches, whose contract ended, appear in free coaches market from the very beginning of the season. So, in 1-3 days of the season new contract with coach may be signed.
9) Update of potentials' recalculation
An error in recalculating potentials has been noticed. Due to it some players' potential doesn't increase (though it should according to RT) and some players' potential doesn't decrease (though it should according to RT). This error used to appear in categories that had small number of players. The problem was found and fixed. As this error caused some players to have potential lower by 2, potentials' recalculation was made in advance of the schedule.
Recalculation was made twice (2012-02-20 13:00). During it, potentials only increased. Therefore when the scheduled time comes (20 day of the season), decrease of potentials will be more sensible.
Jobs planned for the 28th season:
- Accomplish and include the system of instructing new users
- Decide about the next big job in the game and start implementing it
- Update the page of finances - so that in the beginning of the season, financial news of the previous season's last week is available to view
